Your life is going well, you have achieved a great deal yet there is this one persistent problem that does not want to go away. Or perhaps you are currently experiencing a major crisis in your personal or work life.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy can help you to let go of problems and old habits that no longer serve you well and teaches you tools to manage difficult situations better.
Many of us try very hard to give up bad habits, to lose weight, to overcome relationship issues, to improve confidence, to give up smoking and other addictions. We succeed for some time but then we fail. Why? Because we mostly use our rational mind and our willpower and ignore the emotional component connected to our problem. Willpower alone can be upheld for a limited time only because it drains our energy. Our rational brain is in constant negotiation with our emotional or unconscious mind, both think they are doing the best for us. In Cognitive Hypnotherapy, we believe that permanent change has to begin with changing the emotion connected to the problem and the behaviour will adjust naturally.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy is a genuine evidence-based approach. Recent research has demonstrated that "Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy may offer a brief effective treatment for clients with clinically significant levels of anxiety and/or depression" The findings are published in the Mental Health Review Journal (2015, volume 20, Issue: 3, pp.199-210).
I offer Cognitive Hypnotherapy in East London and via Zoom. Contact me to arrange your free, non-obligatory initial phone conversation to discuss how we can work together.
I had the privilege of attending one of Franziska's Workshops and was simply blown away. Her teaching approach is gentle, caring, attentive and very precise. She shares her knowledge and experience freely and the session becomes a journey of self-discovery and presence to oneself. Highly recommended.
